It sounds like Brittany Snow’s ex-husband, Tyler Stanaland, didn’t exactly like what she had to say on the most recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast. He fought back in an Instagram Story post on Thursday, but fans who watched his antics on his Netflix reality show aren’t exactly buying what he’s selling.

“Relationships are complex even without public attention and speculation,” he wrote on March 28. “A mutual commitment was made, both personally and legally, to never speak about the complexities of my marriage publicly and I plan to honor that.”

He then doubled down on his claims that it wasn’t an affair that ended his marriage to Snow — although he didn’t explain why they divorced either. He added, “I do, however, want to make it clear that I was never unfaithful in my marriage and the accusations of infidelity couldn’t be further from the truth.” Even though Stanaland wishes Snow “nothing but the best,” it’s obvious that her conversation about their marriage on the podcast bugged him.

Snow revealed that she was in the dark about the real estate agent’s behavior on Selling the OC until she watched the series along with the rest of the world. Stanaland’s flirtatious moments with co-stars Alex Hall and Kayla Cardona were certainly eye-opening. “I did not know what was going on,” the 38-year-old actress told host Alex Cooper. “I think as someone who is so hands-on with my career, I was just completely shocked that I didn’t have a handle on reality in that way. That was shocking.”

The Netflix series aired in August 2022, and by September, the couple had separated. Their divorce was settled in 2023, but the sting from Stanaland’s actions stung for a long time. “I’m collectively calling them ‘they’ because I don’t know any of them except my ex-husband,” she said of some of her ex’s co-stars. “They took up a lot of energy and emotion and time and real estate in my head. And I don’t want to give them any more time or energy because then they would win, and they would get what they wanted—which was getting my time and energy and attention.”
