Brittany Howard has announced a handful of tour dates in North America for Fall 2023. The announcement coincides with her signing to Island Records.
After hitting Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Louisville, Kentucky this weekend, Howard’s live shows will resume in November, where she’ll kick things off in Birmingham, Alabama on the 6th. From there, she’ll make stops in Nashville, Knoxville, Memphis, Atlanta, Houston, and Dallas throughout the month, before wrapping things up at Corona Capitol Festival in Mexico City on November 17th. L’Rain will be supporting Howard on a few of the dates.
The Alabama Shakes member hasn’t put out a solo album since her 2019 LP Jaime — released via ATO — but the news of her joining Island means we can likely expect some new music imminently. Howard said in a press release: “I couldn’t be happier to announce my new partnership with Island Records, a label with such an incredible legacy and team. I cannot wait for the world to hear my new music and to start touring again.”
Pre-sale for Howard’s headlining shows begins tomorrow, September 13th at 10:00 a.m. ET, with general sale following Friday the 15th at 10:00 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster. Once tickets are on sale, they’ll also be available at StubHub, where your order is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program.

Though it’s been a while since we’ve heard new music from Howard, she joined Becca Mancari in June to duet on the latter’s single “Don’t Even Worry.”
