Brittany Daniel's daughter Hope is celebrating one buggin' birthday!

The Sweet Valley High alum, 47, celebrated her daughter Hope’s 2nd birthday with an insect-themed party, which she documented on Instagram Sunday.

The outdoor bash was made complete with fun, bug-themed costumes and confectionaries, as well as lots of bubbles.

For her special day, Hope dressed up as a little ladybug, while her mom wore a realistic butterfly clip in her hair. Daniel’s husband, real estate agent Adam Touni, went all out as well, donning full beekeeper garb.

Daniel celebrated the colorful bash in the caption of her post, writing, "Our Hope’s 2nd birthday celebration!”

“Thank you to the most loving and supportive group of friends and family!” she continued. “You make living in Northern California feel like home. I truly can’t thank you all enough.”

The actress added, "I am looking forward to being able to impart unconditional love, wisdom and life lessons. We can't wait for the ability to show our first child the world."

Daniel, who rose to fame with her identical twin sister Cynthia on Sweet Valley High in the ‘90s, welcomed Hope via in vitro fertilization in October 2021 with the help of her twin.

After her journey with stage IV non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, which she was diagnosed with in 2011, the actress learned she had a diminished egg reserve and may never be able to have children on her own, she told PEOPLE in 2022.

After a fertility specialist broached the idea of egg donation, Daniel’s twin did not hesitate to donate her own eggs.

"We are so intertwined,” Daniel told PEOPLE. "Everything that's hers is mine, and everything that's mine is hers."

New motherhood was “better than I ever thought it could be,” the actress added at the time. “My sister made my dreams come true."
