Brittany Cartwright May Be Taking Step Back From Jax’s Studio City Bar

What does an estranged couple do after opening a brick-and-mortar business together? Avoid the establishment of course. At least one of them should, and that’s exactly what Brittany Cartwright is doing with Jax’s Studio City.

The Vanderpump Rules alum announced her separation from Jax Taylor on February 29 after four years of marriage. Among many questions, the future of the bar that they opened up together in October was one.

Now, their employees are sharing the goings-on at Jax’s Studio City, Jax and Brittany’s Los Angeles-based sports bar since their split.

Jax was “more involved” since it opened

Staff have exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Brittany has been absent from the premises since announcing the split.

“She has not come by,” one source told the news publication.

Another added, “Jax is more involved in the business and is in a few times a week depending on his schedule.”

Indeed, the business has been running in good form since its opening in October. Jax and Brittany’s attention to detail has paid off, including the Kentucky native decorating the place. Hopefully, the bar will continue making money despite Brittany’s seeming lack of current involvement.

Jax can always be seen at the bar, though, thanks to a series of pictures of himself around the establishment. Brittany is not included. The Valley star also hung several sports jerseys recently as if to put more of his touch on the place.

A percentage of Vanderpump Rules fans question whether the split is a publicity stunt to garner interest in their spinoff, The Valley. Jax recently denied there would be a divorce, suggesting instead that they just needed time apart.

The Valley will premiere on March 19 and follows the lives of Brittany, Jax, and fellow VPR alum Kristen Doute through the next phase of their lives.
