Britney Spears has sparked psychological concern. The "Toxic" singer took to Instagram on Christmas Eve to show off a festive look and deliver some holiday cheer.
Britney, 38, posted a video of herself modeling a teeny tiny white mini dress with puff sleeves and a frilly trim. The blonde was posing on an outdoor balcony, waving her hair around, and giving her outfit a bit of a tug – Britney clutched at the lower part of her dress before doing the same around the chest. Plenty of smiles were sent, with Britney also twirling around for a girly display.
The Dress 'Fits Me To A T!!!!!!'
Britney offered no speech during her video, instead choosing to have guitar music playing as she showed off her number. The singer did, however, accompany her video with a caption.
"I love modeling new clothes !!! I got this dress for Christmas ... and it fits me to a T !!!!!! I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday !!! Don’t forget to leave Santa cookies 🍪 .... and milk tonight 😜😜😜"
While the star seemed confident in her look, her fans proved to have other thoughts.
Over 10,000 comments were left within the first four hours of the video going live.
"She is drugged," a fan wrote, adding "omg."
Over 40 users agreed with the comment, with some also replying.
"Agreed," one wrote.
"I'm scared for her," another added.
Multiple users asked the mother of two whether she is doing okay – Britney suffers from bipolar disorder and has a long and very public history of battling her mental health troubles.
"Girl are you ok?" one fan queried.
"Are you ok?" saw a fan echo the thought.
Not The First Time Her Videos Have Had Instagram Worried
It's been less than a month since a home video of Britney sparked similar worries to the ones seen today. December 7 saw The Blast report Britney deliver another outfit video – and fans were commenting on more than just the dress.
"I seriously worry about her. She doesn’t seem “right”. Loved her back in the day, and still think she’s a sweet soul, but something is just off," one fan had written.
"So troubling. Small, wounded child seeking love and meaningful attention. Trauma therapist needed," another had said.
Then Again, We Got This (And A Clap-Back To The Haters)
Britney tends not to reply to comments left to her Instagram, but it's likely that she reads at least some of them. The star showed off her Christmas tree in the middle of December, adding a note to the haters.
"Happy holidays friends !!!! I love sharing with you all ... but it’s been hard to keep wanting to share because people say the meanest things !!! If you don’t like a post ... just keep it to yourself and unfollow that person !!! There’s no reason to ever go out of your way to make mean comments and bully people 😢😢😢 Stay happy and nice this holiday season y’all and God Bless !!!!!" she wrote.
947,464 Views In Four Hours – We're Still Interested
Britney may no longer be at her peak, but the "Womanizer" singer is far from irrelevant. Britney's video was fast approaching 1 million views at the four-hour mark.
Responses did see many users wish Britney all the best over the Holidays (with many a fan loving the look), but the concern was there.
Britney was told that she looked "rough" by one user.
"How she gonna remind me to put milk and cookies out when she can't even remember to wash off her makeup and brush her hair," another remarked.
The haters haven't gone anywhere, but it looks like this girl can handle them just fine.
