Britney Spears shouts out 'genius' ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake in casual TikTok dance
Britney Spears is paying tribute to one of her famous exes.
The "… Baby One More Time" songstress took to social media on Wednesday to shout out Justin Timberlake, whom she dated for about three years until their highly publicized breakup in 2002.
"This is my version of Snapchat or TikTok or whatever the cool thing you're supposed to do these days," she wrote on Instagram. "As you can see I’m not really dancing folks …… I’m just very bored."
In the short video, originally posted to TikTok, Spears bobs her head and twirls to Timberlake's 2018 song "Filthy."
She added: "PS I know we had one of the world's biggest breakups 20 years ago …… but hey the man is a genius !!!! Great song JT !!!! Pssss if you KNOW WHAT'S GOOD !!!!!!"

Jamie Lynn Spears of "Zoey 101" took to the comments to support her big sister.
"Blogs are already plotting their outrageous stories," she wrote. "you keep having fun and looking cute tho!!"
Timberlake has been married to actress Jessica Biel since 2012, and Spears is currently dating personal trainer Sam Asghari. In a 2013 interview with USA TODAY, Spears cited Timberlake as one of her inspirations, calling him "so different and fresh."
"It's inspiring for me, and it makes people eager to listen to music, which helps everyone," she added.
In August, Spears shared an Instagram video in the kitchen with Asghari at work at the stove.
"I can't believe I wake up every morning to this man," she told her fans. She pans the camera toward Asghari, who hands her a glass of rosé while laughing.

"For me?" Spears asks.
Spears and Asghari met in 2016 on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video. "I was excited that I get to meet one of the biggest artists of all time,” Asghari recalled to Men's Health in an interview last year. “I had butterflies."
"Not only is my boyfriend really hot, he's probably the best chef in the world," Spears added in the video.
"Probably," Asghari echoed.
