Britney Spears is reflecting on the first time she met Taylor Swift while she was on her Oops! … I Did It Again Tour.

The “Toxic” singer shared side-by-side images of her and Swift in 2003 before the “Anti-Hero” singer released her first self-titled album, and five years later in 2008. Spears recalled that while she was on her tour, a friend of hers introduced her to this young girl who wanted to be a singer.

“This is way back when but kinda cool … During my Oops Tour, I got a knock at my door,” Spears wrote in the caption of the post. “My good friend at the time was the assistant to my manager who was trying to become a manager himself. There was a knock, and then he said, ‘I have a girl named Taylor who wants to come in and sing for you.'”

She continued, “I was like, of course !!! He walks in, and she sings a beautiful song with her guitar. I was like, wow, wow, she’s unbelievable !!! We took a picture, and she then became the most iconic pop woman of our generation. Kinda cool she plays stadiums, and I prefer her videos over movies any day. She’s stunning !!! Girl crush.”

Spears’ post comes in the days after Swift launched the international leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour, which kicked off in Glendale, Arizona, in March and ended Aug. 9 after a six-night stint at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

After making three-night stops in major cities all across the country, the “All Too Well” singer went global with her first Eras Tour international stop in Argentina on Nov. 9. She’ll also stop in places like Tokyo, Sydney, Singapore, Paris, Madrid and London, among many others, over the next year.
