When Britney Spears saw Colin Farrell for the first time, she said, "Gimme more."

In her new tell-all memoir, The Woman In Me (out now), the pop star, now 41, reveals new details about how her short, high-profile 2003 fling with the Irish actor, now 47, began — and it's all thanks to her making it happen by literally pursuing him on the set of his movie SWAT.

After hearing that her ex Justin Timberlake had been sleeping with "six or seven girls in the weeks after [they] officially broke up," Spears decided she should try to date too. So when she saw "a guy who I thought was handsome," her friend told her it was Farrell and that he was currently shooting a movie.

"Well, talk about balls — I got in my car and I drove up to the set of his action movie, SWAT," Spears writes. "Who did I think I was? There was no security or anything, so I went straight onto the soundstage, where they were doing a set piece in a house. When the director saw me, he said, 'Come sit in my chair!'"

Spears remembers watching them shoot until Farrell came up to her and asked for "any pointers."

"He was inviting me to direct him," Spears says. "We wound up having a two-week brawl. Brawl is the only word for it — we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight."

During their "fun time together," Spears remembers when Farrell took her to the premiere of his movie The Recruit. "I was so flattered he asked me to go," Spears says, adding that she's now embarrassed looking back at photos from that night since she wore "a pajama top" to the formal event. But overall, she thinks back on that night in a positive light. "I was so excited to be at the premiere. Colin's whole family was there, and they were so warm to me."

Spears adds that she tried to avoid getting "too attached" to Farrell because she was still "vulnerable" at the time since she "wasn't over Justin yet. But for a brief moment in time I did think there could be something there."

But Farrell didn't confirm they were together officially at the time. "We're not dating," he told EW in 2003. "She's a sweet, sweet girl. There's nothing going on — just mates."

Spears went on to marry Kevin Federline in 2004, and the two welcomed sons Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17, before splitting in 2007. Farrell has a son James, 20, with model Kim Bordenave, and son Henry, 14, with actress Alicja Bachleda-Curuś.
