Britney Spears Reportedly Looking To ‘Meet Hot Guys’ After Being ‘Betrayed’ By Sam Asghari

Singer Britney Spears is reportedly looking to undergo a lot of changes in her life amid her divorce from Sam Asghari.

The 41-year-old pop star and the 29-year-old actor first met in 2016 on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video. Sam proposed in September 2021, only two months before her 13-year conservatorship was struck down by a judge in November 2021. The two tied the knot in June 2022, but Sam filed for divorce on August 16, 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

In the court documents, he listed July 28 as the date of separation, hinting that this had been coming for a while. Although there are allegations that Britney cheated on Sam, other insiders report that it's the Princess of Pop who feels "manipulated and betrayed" by the "Special Ops: Lioness" actor.

Britney Spears is reportedly undergoing a big life change amid her divorce from Sam Asghari. On Wednesday, August 30, a source told Us Weekly that “This is a new chapter for Britney in more ways than one.”

Britney’s new memoir, “The Woman In Me,” comes out on October 24, and the pop star has reportedly been “focusing on herself” and putting out new music. “The songs will be about freeing herself from negativity and unhealthy people,” the source shared, although they noted that there is some concern for the pop star.

“She was finally getting to a positive place, and then Sam filed for divorce. People are worried how all of this will affect her,” they said.

Another insider added, “Some people are of the opinion that Britney’s on a dangerous downward spiral and the stuff she’s been [doing] hasn’t done much to dampen that worry. The concern for Britney’s welfare right now is off the charts.”

Britney Is Open To Repairing Her Relationship With Her Mom and Brother, But Not Her Dad

They also talked about her relationship with her family members. A third source said that she has “always been close with Bryan,” referring to her brother, who has been spotted at her house following the divorce.

“Now that she no longer has Sam to rely on, Britney’s more open to possibly repairing things with her mom,” the source continued. “She’s not sure they can ever fully recover, but she’s open to it.” Britney previously tried reconnecting with her mother, Lynne Spears, in May.

The insider also shot down rumors that Britney plans on reconnecting with her father, Jamie Spears, amid his health scare. “Britney has no intention of reconciling with her dad,” the third source said, while the first source added, “Jamie is the last person she’d ever turn to. He will more than likely never be a part of her life again.”

Although Britney is not close to either of her two teenage sons who recently relocated to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline, the second source said that she is hoping to visit them soon before addressing her relationship with her manager, Cade Hudson.

“Cade is probably her closest confidante right now,” said the second source, who alleged that Sam was jealous of their friendship during their six-year relationship. Britney is also said to spend time with her drivers, bodyguards, and “dancers who are either on the payroll or want to be.” However, the insider did go on to say, “The most tragic thing of all is that there seems to be nobody capable of really helping her.”

Insiders Can't Agree On Whether Or Not Britney Did Cheat On Sam

Britney and Sam also are not on speaking terms at the moment. The second source says that Britney “feels manipulated and betrayed” by Sam, who is currently living in a high-rise luxury building in L.A., that is being paid for by Britney and her team. “She’s paying him until they settle everything in court,” the insider explained.

The source went on to say that Sam will likely challenge the prenup, alleging, “The people around Britney felt in the last two to three years that Sam had ulterior motives.” However, the second source said that Sam is “hoping things get resolved quickly.” They later admitted, “He doesn’t want to play hardball with Britney, but if he has to, he will.”

Although there have been accusations that Britney was unfaithful to Sam, a first insider cast doubt on those allegations. “That’s just Sam’s way out of the marriage. There was always a plan of action for his future,” they said.

That being said, one insider did say that Britney did “step out” on Sam with a former employee with a criminal background: Paul Richard Soliz. “He was fired when Britney’s team found out they were sleeping together, but then he came back into the picture,” another insider alleged, claiming that Sam found out about the alleged cheating on security camera footage.

Britney Spears Still Has Support Of Her Famous Friends Amid The Split

Although her relationship is over, Britney still has the support of many of her famous friends in the industry, including Madonna, who is hoping to pull Britney on stage for one of her stops in L.A. during her Celebration tour. “Britney’s grateful for the support she’s gotten from her friends in the biz — Madonna especially,” said the second source. “She’d love to join her, but the question is whether or not she can handle that type of pressure and attention.”

That being said, another source indicated that Britney is looking forward to doing a “big sit-down interview” with her memoir and even indicated that Britney is trying to get the book delayed so she can incorporate new information about the divorce in her tell-all book.

However, many of her decisions seem to be influenced by her mental health. One source said, “Her team will have to evaluate where she is at to see if she is ready for it.”

Another insider said that Britney is just looking forward to enjoying her newfound freedom. “As far as dating goes, Britney just wants to enjoy her freedom and meet hot guys — that seems to be the priority,” the second source said, admitting that “it’s hard to know what Britney really wants down the line — it changes so frequently.”
