Britney Spears moment on 'Supergirl' becomes fans' new favorite scene

Supergirl took a quick trip to Mars this week, as well as a trip down memory lane, as she casually blasted one of the best songs from the ’90s, Britney Spears’s “…Baby One More Time.”

In the “Far From the Tree” episode, J’onn was called back to Mars by M’gann, where he discovered that his father, Myr’nn, is still alive and was the only one who knew where the “Staff of Kolar” was being held.

Tasked with creating a diversion, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) rolled up to the location, jamming out to the Britney hit, while shouting, “Hi! I’m, uh … I’m sorry to bother you during … whatever it is you are doing. I think I took a wrong turn at Albuquerque and … can any of you give me directions back to Earth?” Because, obviously, a situation like that calls for Britney.

And any Britney fan knows that this isn’t the first time her music has been blasting on Mars. Who remembers her famous red jumpsuit-clad “Oops!… I Did It Again” music video?

But back to Supergirl and the fact that the show’s fans totally went crazy over her Britney moment. One twitter fan shared,
