Britney Spears Launches 'Insect' Comments With Thirsty Bra Pic – Here's Why
Britney Spears has launched a ton of comments on insects. The "Toxic" singer used the word herself as she captioned her latest and super-thirsty Instagram pic, with the 38-year-old delivering what may be her sexiest look of the year.
Britney's snap today showed her looking like a total bombshell as she posed in a barely-there and black satin bra with tiny matching shorts, plus a racy pair of fingerless gloves completing the look. The star wore her signature blonde hair down, further upping the ante with a direct gaze that was, well, sexy AF.
The 'Insect,' Explained
The queen of pop captioned her image with a mention of where it was taken (plus how the whole thing left her feeling).
"The studio where we shot this in NYC was big enough to fit 2 cars and motor cycle ... bigger than the stage at Vegas!!! It was HUGE and I felt like an insect 🐜 PS @ellenvonunwerth is the coolest ever," Spears wrote.
And yes, Instagram has picked up on it.
"QUEEN OF INSECTS," one fan wrote.
"INSECTNY!!! YAAAS," another said.
"Insect legend" was another comment.
The Confused Fan (Who Gets An Answer)
By and large, fans were sold. Britney was called "iconic" by more than one user, also finding herself told that she'd "invented" motorcycles and studio shoots.
For anyone living under a rock, Britney being told she's "invented" whatever she's doing became a standard on her IG a long time ago.
Not every reply was so straight-forward, though. One fan didn't have a clue.
"What is she talking about?" they asked.
"She's clearly talking about a photo shoot she did. Obviously," a helpful user replied.
No Psychological Panic Today
Britney's social media has definitely been causing some concern this year. An update from Britney in a floral sundress earlier this month sparked major mental health concerns as fans wondered if the singer was unstable – Britney suffers from bipolar disorder.
"I seriously worry about her. She doesn’t seem “right”. Loved her back in the day, and still think she’s a sweet soul, but something is just off," one fan had replied, with many others echoing the sentiment.
Today? A quick scroll through the comments section shows nothing but gushing for the great Ms. Spears.
Psych Ward, Custody Issues, Not Exactly An Easy Year
2019 is almost over. This year has brought Britney plenty of joy as her relationship with personal trainer Sam Asghari goes from strength to strength, but there's been some hardship.
Earlier in the year, Britney was hospitalized in a mental health facility. September also left Britney bashed as she lost custody (well, some of it) of her kids: ex-boyfriend and baby daddy Kevin Federline now has 70% custody of the couple's two kids. The agreement was a 50/50 one, but it looks like Britney has only been left with 30% custody of her two sons.

#FreeBritney wouldn't exist if people didn't care. The singer whose conservatorship has been a talking point since 2008 isn't as young as she once was, but she's still got it.
As to what Britney has divulged to her fans, well, not all that much, but she has reassured them.
“Don’t believe everything you read and hear,” Britney captioned a post back in April.
“Your love and dedication is amazing,” she continued, “but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way.”
