Singer Britney Spears was recently spotted with her ex-boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, fueling dating rumors despite her denial in February.

The sighting comes after she settled her lawsuit with her father, Jamie Spears. She is reportedly "furious" over covering his hefty legal fees.

Britney was recently spotted in a Mercedes SUV in the San Fernando Valley with her ex, Paul Richard Soliz.

According to photos obtained by the DailyMail, the "Baby One More Time" hitmaker dressed casually in blue jeans and a white top, and Soliz, who was at the wheel, donned a blue, plaid button-up shirt.

Both were seemingly trying to keep a low profile. However, while hiding from being photographed, Britney reclined in the vehicle's passenger seat and inadvertently cracked the windshield on her side with her tan heels.

In February, Britney dismissed dating rumors regarding Soliz in an Instagram video, affirming that she has a "hopeless romantic understanding that being single is awesome."

Despite her claim of singlehood, an insider told UsWeekly that "Britney and Paul are definitely together," adding, "He's still in the picture."

Another source told the publication of Britney and Soliz's shared trips to Santa Barbara and nights spent together at her home. "She doesn't like it when he leaves. [Britney] feels as though she deserves more attention, but he has to be there for his kids," the source added.

She Quietly Settled Legal Dispute With Her Father Jamie Spears

Britney's recent outing follows the surprising resolution of her long-standing legal battle with her father, Jamie Spears.

TMZ reported the settlement on Friday, revealing that the "Toxic" singer will cover Jamie's legal fees, which allegedly exceed $2 million, while obtaining no compensation herself.

The pop star is reportedly "furious" about the outcome, especially after her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, assured her of a strong case. Britney has already paid Rosengart over $4 million, further deepening her financial burden following the settlement.

In February, the legal battle between Britney and Jamie appeared far from resolved despite her conservatorship being terminated in 2021.

Jamie alleged in court documents obtained by The Blast on February 7 that Britney was employing delay tactics to prolong the case. At the time, he opposed granting a stay in proceedings, fearing it would postpone the trial's start until after mediation sessions scheduled for later that month.

The Singer's Father Is 'Thrilled' That The Legal Battle Is 'Over'

Alex M. Weingarten, Jamie's Lawyer, revealed that the 71-year-old is "thrilled" that the lawsuit debacle is finally "over."

According to the New York Post, the lawyer said, "he regrets the irresponsible and specious allegations made against him in public."

He also mentioned that Jamie has not given up on the possibility of reconciling his family differences with his daughter.

"Jamie loves his daughter very much," Weingarten remarked further. "He would love nothing more than to reconcile and be a family again. He has only ever acted in Britney's best interests."

Britney Spears 'Will No Longer Need To Attend' Court

On the other hand, Britney's lawyer, Rosengart, claimed it was an honor to represent the singer, whom he described as a "brilliant and brave artist of historic and epic proportion."

Rosengart further noted that thanks to the court filings, Britney's "wish for freedom is now truly complete."

"As she desired, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to attend or be involved with court in this matter," he added, per the New York Times.

Britney Spears Recounts Harrowing Conservatorship Experience

In a court statement before the end of her conservatorship, Britney condemned the arrangement for impeding her ability to marry her then-boyfriend, Sam Asghari and restricting basic freedoms like driving her car.

She revealed startling allegations, including being denied the removal of her IUD, while also accusing her father of profiting from her finances.

In her book, "The Woman In Me," the 42-year-old singer also claimed that she complied with the terms of her now-terminated conservatorship, which spanned from 2008 to 2021, to spend time with her sons, Sean, 18, and Jayden, 17.

The "Toxic" singer also recounted feeling helpless after undergoing involuntary psychological assessments, leading her to comply with the conservatorship's demands reluctantly.

Reflecting on the experience, she said: "After being held down on a gurney, I knew they could restrain my body any time they wanted to. And so I went along with it."

Since the conservatorship was lifted, Britney has regained her freedom, regularly sharing free-spirited videos of herself dancing on social media.
