Britney Spears Breaks Silence On Divorce In Bikini Dancing Video

It looks like Britney Spears is getting back into posting her usual content, as she posted a video of her dancing in a bikini for the first time since the news broke that her husband Sam Asghari had filed for divorce.

The two started dating in 2016 after he appeared in her "Slumber Party" music video. The two became engaged in September 2021, her conservatorship ended in November 2021, and they tied the knot in June 2022. Unfortunately, in December 2022, Britney confessed in a deleted Instagram post that her husband thought she had "gone bonkers" due to her new meditation practice, and by March 2023, they two were photographed out and about without wedding rings.

In the divorce filing obtained by The Blast, the 29-year-old actor listed July 28, 2023, as the date of their separation and cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. Although fans thought Britney might be upset about the end of her marriage, it looks like she is taking it in stride.

After deleting the two cryptic videos that she posted on Instagram yesterday, the "Mind Your Business" singer finally took to Instagram to address the split in another bikini dancing video. She doesn’t do much dancing at the start of the video, wiping her face off, before she really gets into it, letting her long blonde hair whip around her face.

She is wearing a black crop top with puffy tees and a strap that ties around her neck to match her pointed black boots. She is also wearing lime green bikini bottoms and gives fans a rear view of her outfit on more than one occasion before she wipes herself off again. In the caption, Britney admitted that she is "a little shocked" but confessed that she "couldn't take the pain anymore."

In the caption, Britney began, "As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because it's honestly nobody’s business !!! But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!! In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!!"

"I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that !!! I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but [for] some reason I’ve always had to hide my weaknesses !!!" she continued. "If I wasn’t my dad’s strong soldier, I would be sent away to places to get fixed by doctors !!! But that’s when I needed family the most !!! You’re supposed to be loved unconditionally … not under conditions !!!!"

"So I will be as strong as I can and do my best !!! And I’m actually doing pretty d*mn good !!! Anyways have a good day and don’t forget to smile !!!" she concluded. The pop star turned comments off on this Instagram post, but it was liked by someone of her famous friends, including “Only Love Can Save Us Now” singer Kesha, “Shake It Up” actress Bella Thorne, and country pop singer Jessie James Decker, among others.

Sam Asghari Dismisses Their 6-Year Relationship As ‘Sh*t Happens’

On Thursday, the “Special Ops: Lioness” actor took to his Instagram Stories to make his own statement about their divorce.

“After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” he wrote. “We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always. Sh*t happens. Asking for privacy seems [ridiculous] so I will just ask for everyone including media to be kind and thoughtful.”

On Wednesday, only hours after news of their separation and subsequent divorce broke, Britney made it clear that she was not going to address the headlines about her when she revealed that she was moving on by buying two horses that she planned to name Sophie and Roar.

"Buying a horse soon 🐴 !!! So many options it’s kinda hard !!! A horse called Sophie and another called Roar 🐎 ???" she wrote in the caption. "I can’t make up my mind 🙈 !!! Should I join the camaraderie and put a pink cowboy hat on 😜 ??? Either way I think I found my sweet spot with Roar 😘 !!!"
