Sometimes, when royals cannot stand up for themselves to avoid drama and being summoned to the palace by the queen, their best friends help them do the work. Meghan Markle is an amazing member of the British royal family, who has tried her best to remain neutral and loving, especially in the eyes of the public. However, trolls will stop at nothing to discredit her for the things that she does. For several months now, the Duchess has talked about how difficult it is, adjusting to the royal life.
One of the reasons she cited in a documentary was the British tabloids that always found a way to hurl unkind words at her. Many times, they have done this, and many times, they have gotten away with it, but this time, they did not. After Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, posted a lovely Christmas photo of baby Archie, trolls in persons of the British press concluded that the picture was a fake. According to them, the Sussexes indulged in a form of photoshop for the picture.
A lot of people applauded the couple for sharing such a wonderful photo of the little prince, but one of Markle's friend could not sit still and watch the press defame and insult her best friend. Janina Gavankar was not happy with the way the press trolled the couple, especially when it involved little Archie, so she fired back. The Chicago born pianist and vocalist was the one who took the photo, and she confirmed that what the tabloids spewed were false. In her statement, she said she was proud to take the photo, and she shared the original picture that was later cropped to fit Instagram.
It is no news that Markle has openly shown her dislike for photoshop, but that has not prevented tabloids like Daily Mail from slamming accusations against her. In the Christmas photo shared by the couple, Markle's face was unusually in focus, compared to that of Harry, even though they were sitting very close to each other.
Well, this time around, Meghan Markle did not have to lift a finger, as she had her best friend, Gavankar rooting for her.
The Sussexes decided on a Christmas card GIF that looks so beautiful, but not everyone was happy with this. The GIF shows the couple sitting in front of a Christmas tree as they play with baby Archie, who is staring beautifully at the camera. Since May 6, 2019, the couple has shared very limited photos of their son Archie, so fans could not really keep up with his growth. However, the Christmas card shows that Archie is growing very fast. Last year, the couple's Christmas card had more of an official taste than it does now.
