Bristol Palin to Join the Next Season of ‘Teen Mom OG’ – at 27

“Teen Mom OG” is adding a new member to its cast who is most definitely not a teen anymore. But, yeah, she was a teen mom — a pretty famous one.

Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol Palin is joining the MTV reality series for the upcoming season this fall, an individual with knowledge of the casting tells TheWrap.

The 27-year-old has three children, and was 17 years old when he first son, son Tripp, was born. She was previously engaged to Levi Johnston and eventually married Dakota Meyer, though the two are now in the middle of a divorce.

Bristol Palin seems to be filling the hole left by the exit of franchise star Farrah Abrahams in 2017.

Abrahams filed a lawsuit against MTV parent company Viacom back in February, saying she was “sex shamed” over her decision to enter the pornography industry, and was wrongfully terminated from the spinoff series. She is currently facing a possible 18 months in jail, after being charged following her arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel last month.

The former Governor of Alaska and U.S. vice presidential candidate’s daughter will star alongside “Teen Mom OG” regulars Amber Portwood, McKenzie McKee, Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell.
