Created by Saverio Costanzo, My Brilliant Friend Season 4 is an Italian coming-of-age drama series airing on HBO, RAI, and TIMvision. Based on Elena Ferrante’s Neapolitan Quartet, the TV series is named after the first book. The plot follows the lifelong friendship between two women, beginning in the ’50s on the outskirts of Naples. My Brilliant Friend Season 4’s release date could arrive by summer 2024.
At a press event in November 2023, Casey Bloys, chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max, unveiled the networks’ 2024 slate and announced that the fourth and final season of My Brilliant Friend would be released in the summer of 2024. Unlike the American projects, My Brilliant Friend will probably not be impacted by the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike and will come out as scheduled.
This date is an estimation based on the information we have at the time of this writing.
