The Bridgewater Modern Grill will serve brunch daily plus offer boat docks
There’s a new daily brunch offering for Milwaukee-area diners.
The Bridgewater Modern Grill, 2011 S. First St., is expanding its popular brunch service to seven days a week beginning Aug. 7. Previously brunch was offered on Saturdays and Sundays only.
“For brunch, our atmosphere accommodates everything from a business lunch to a girls’ brunch, and we know there’s only a handful of other restaurants in the area where customers can get their brunch fix every day of the week,” General Manager Rik Acken said in a press release.
The Harbor District restaurant is also expanding its weekend brunch hours. Brunch now will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The brunch menu will continue to include favorites like avocado toast, chicken and waffles, breakfast patty melt, and crab cake Benedict, but will also feature new offerings such as peppercorn seared tuna salad and tempura green beans.
New boat slips will open soon
The Bridgewater’s popular patio — billed as the longest riverfront patio in Milwaukee — will soon be accessible to river traffic, as well. Eight boat slips are being installed along the restaurant's patio on the Kinnickinnic River. They will be available for boaters and kayakers beginning Aug. 21. Those using the boat slips can dine indoors or on the patio, or they can order ahead online for pickup via boat. Boaters will also have access to the restaurant’s indoor/outdoor bar, lounge area and lawn games.
