Bridgerton costars Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton have spent years building an effortless chemistry ahead of their season 3 spotlight. Their friendship is on full display in a new Teen Vogue video where they reveal that, yes, they do send each other Bridgerton fan videos.
In the latest edition of Teen Vogue's Compliment Battle, Coughlan and Newton take turns reading each other social media compliments from fans and dinging each other when they inevitably can't hold in their laughter. There is… endless laughter, and some shouting, as the pair go back and forth.

A few highlights: Newton has “illegal arms” and is always game for a hug with Coughlan, at least, and yes, he knows he has a “puppy dog head tilt.” “Apparently it's a character thing I do to too, as Colin,” Newton laughs at himself. Coughlan, meanwhile, has a special appreciation for the phrase “shady Whistledown” and can spot a meme a mile away, even if Newton can't. (They send each other a lot of TikToks.)
Oh, and Coughlan has read a lot of comments about how much fans love Newton's chest hair. Valid, fans! You can see more of it in Bridgerton season 3, which released its first episodes today, May 16.

This story was updated to say “fan videos” instead of “fanfic” … a transcription error. Wishful thinking!
