It was a big mood.

Nicola Coughlan, the current star of the Shonda Rhimes hit “Bridgerton,” would often cry on set from exhaustion. The reason? She was simultaneously filming the comedy series “Big Mood.”

“I remember that I was so tired, I would just start crying randomly,” Coughlan, 37, told AP Entertainment on Tuesday. “And I would I would be saying, ‘There’s nothing actually wrong with me. I am just very tired.’ I had to learn my ‘Big Mood‘ script on the ‘Bridgerton’ set.”

“I’d film one show during the week, the other on the weekend,” she told the outlet, adding that it was “just crazy.”

The “Derry Girls” alum’s back-and-forth between the shows also played a major role in her emotional state.

“‘Big Mood’ has quite naturalistic dialogue,” the actress explained, while “Bridgerton” was “very stylized.”

“We’d film one in West London and one in East London. It was just bonkers. It was bonkers,” she added.

Despite the obvious strain of the back-to-back shooting schedule, Coughlan’s “Big Mood” co-star, Lydia West, praised her fellow castmate.

“I would just look at you, and you were like, the actress I wanted to become,” said West, 30. “You can learn your lines in [the makeup] chair.”

“I had no other time to do it,” Coughlan chimed in. “I needed more hours in the day.”
