Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor watched the Netflix drama with her grandparents – and somehow managed to avoid the sex scenes!

In the series, Dynevor's character, Daphne Bridgerton, and her costar Regé-Jean Page's character, Simon Bassett, the Duke of Hastings, have several intimate scenes that take up a lot of screen time as their romance progresses.

Despite all the action, Dynevor decided to view the Shonda Rhimes-produced series with her grandparents for a good reason.

"I did, but only because and I find it really hard to watch myself, but I had to if they were going to watch it," she explained on The Drew Barrymore Show on Friday.

"So I had to stand there with the remote ready at any given point to fast-forward for them not to see any of the things I didn't want them to see," the Bridgerton actress added.

Page chimed in and said, "That's very responsible of you what a good grandkid."

"We got through it. It was PG-13 for my grandparents," Dynevor assured.

Host Drew Barrymore said she'd "love to see that version," although Page disagreed.

"I'm not sure I want to see that in fast-forward, I think that might be a whole new show," he said.

Page also revealed how he managed to watch the steamy scenes with his family.

"I mean my family are pretty well drilled at this point because we've got a family What's App group, it's got like the little red flashing light emojis particularly around episode five, the occasional peach emoji," he said. "But also the Brits are very well drilled for this in general."

"I think everything you need to know is on camera," Regé-Jean Page joked

One cousin, Page revealed, didn't get the warning texts and told him that she made a "bunch of tactical cups of tea" anytime a sex scene popped up.

"But the problem with this show is that she came back and she was like, 'And you guys were still going. How many cups of tea do I need to make?' " he joked because of the prolonged intimacy scenes.

Bridgerton is streaming on Netflix.
