Brian Eno Reissuing Diary and Essay Collection

In 1996, Brian Eno published A Year With Swollen Appendices—a diary and collection of essays he penned starting at the end of 1994. Now, Eno is republishing the book in celebration of its 25 year anniversary. Hardcover and ebook editions of the work will arrive November 19, 2020 in the UK and February 9, 2021 in the US (via Faber and Faber). Find the cover design of the book below.

According to a press release, A Year With Swollen Appendices includes a new introduction by Eno, as well as his original writing on collaborations with David Bowie, U2, Jah Wobble, and others, as well as essays on ambient music, day-to-day world events, and more. The design of the new version of the book is meant to pay homage to the original diary Eno kept, as well as the book’s first edition.
