Brian Eno Announces Massive Box Set

Rare and previously unreleased tracks from the prolific composer

Brian Eno has announced a massive new compilation of “new, rare, and previously unreleased tracks” called Music for Installations. As the title implies, the huge collection of music includes compositions that were debuted as part of art installations around the world in years past. It arrives May 4 via UMC. Music for Installations is also being issued on vinyl in a huge 9xLP box set, which comes with a 64-page book featuring “rare and unseen exhibition photographs and a new essay written by Eno.” The producer recently announced a double-A-side vinyl release with Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine.
