Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess reveal they've been secretly engaged for months

Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess shared some big news on the latest episode of their podcast: They're officially engaged!

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and Dancing With the Stars pro revealed they've actually been engaged for more than two months, making it public for the first time on Friday's episode of Oldish, the podcast they cohost alongside Randy Spelling, brother to Green's former onscreen love interest Tori Spelling.

They detailed that the actor proposed to Burgess on his 50th birthday on July 15 in an intimate moment at the end of a party surrounded by their children, including the couple's 1-year-old son, Zane Walker Green, born June 28, 2022, and Green's sons with ex Megan Fox, Journey River, Bodhi Ransom, and Noah Shannon. He also shares a 21-year-old son, Kassius Marcil-Green, with Vanessa Marcil.

"I put that ring on my finger and I hugged all of them and it was the most perfect, beautiful moment because it was us," Burgess said. "It was our unit, you know, our tribe. And I love that that's how he wanted to do it."

The couple began dating in December 2020, following Green's split from Fox. The next year, they paired up to compete on Dancing With the Stars season 30.

Burgess said she plans to change her name to Green after they wed: "I do want the same last name as my babies, all of them — my bonus babies and Zane."

As the podcast episode went live, Burgess and Green posted the same video on their Instagram accounts of her hand wearing an engagement ring on top of his and their children's.
