The 50-year-old hopped in the recording booth with NSYNC's Lance Bass to catch up on old times and was quite outspoken about raising his eldest son, Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green, who recently came out as gay. Bass showered loads of accolades on the actor for his superb parenting techniques and open-mindedness and said:

"He was so lucky to be able to be in your family because so many kids out there don't get that. And even if their parents accept them, there's a lot of times when the kid still knows that they still disagree with it."

For the "90210" actor, things remain entirely the same, as he detailed the process of accepting Kassius's sexual preference on the iHeartRadio podcast by saying:

"I would get into these conservations with Kash where it was like I really wanted to understand the things that seemed so different to me at first. And then you realize, 'Oh, this isn't different at all.' It's just your choice of partner. It doesn't affect me at all."

Green disclosed that he does not give room for bullying or unnecessary opinions on his son as he added, "And that's the thing I'm always trying to beat into people now — it does not affect you. Why do you care so much? And why are you trying to somehow bully your feelings and your opinion into something that literally does not affect you at all?"

The newly engaged actor described the experience as fascinating, a different reaction to what most people feel. "I think a lot of people are afraid of the unknown, whereas I'm not. To me, it's intriguing. And I want to learn about it," shared the "Cross" actor.

His fiance, Sharna Burgess, also confirmed his parenting prowess in a lengthy birthday tribute on Instagram back in July. She described Green as "the kind of father I could've only dreamed of (and I did) for my children." she added that her "happily ever exists wherever you and the kids are."

The actor, who has five children from his past and current relationships, discussed co-parenting a large mixed family on the "Quite Frankly" podcast back in April 2023. Per PEOPLE, Green shared that his incredible kids make the whole parenting process easy as he said:

"Brian and Megan did such an amazing job. Kass is also an amazing kid. There's been no resistance. I have a beautiful relationship with them."

He even recruited them to help with his romantic proposal to Burgess. Green welcomed Kassis in March 2022 with his then-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil. He then welcomed Noah Shannon Green, Bodhi Ransom Green, and Journey River Green with actress Megan Fox before their divorce in March 2020.

Green made major moves to expand his beautiful family as he asked his fiance Burgess the big question. In a shocking announcement on their "Old-ish" podcast on iHeartRadio last month, the pair revealed Green got down on one knee two months earlier at his 50th birthday party.

Per The Blast, Green recalled thinking the party was the perfect place for him and the kids to make a move. The former 'DWTS" contestant could not hide her excitement as she carefully described the series of events that led up to her big moment with co-anchor Randy Spelling. She said:

"The kids come in with him. Noah is holding Zane, and Journey is holding this little red Cartier box. And they all come in there, and they stand next to Brian..He takes the box from Journey, and he says, 'Would you spend the rest of your life with us?'. I was just looking at him like, I can't believe this is really happening."

The "So You Think You Can Dance' alum adored the children's role in the proposal as she called them "our unit, our tribe."
