Breezeway cruises, East Jordan Fall Fest coming up

EAST JORDAN — The 14th Annual Breezeway Fall Color Cruises are scheduled to take place on three consecutive Saturdays — Sept. 30, Oct. 7 and Oct. 14.

From 10 a.m. to noon, those making the scenic drive can pick up their goodie bags at Royal Farms in Atwood filled with coupons, business swag, “Trip Tips” sheet of attractions, events, and more.

Drivers will tour the 26 miles of the Breezeway at their own pace, and they are encouraged to explore the businesses, events and places of interest along the way.

On Sept. 29 and 30, the annual East Jordan Fall Fest will be held at the East Jordan Tourist Park.

The event, sponsored by the City of East Jordan Parks and Recreation Department, features music, a co-ed softball tournament, food, beer tent, cornhole tournament, hayrides, children’s games, face painting, vendor booths, axe throwing, yard games, a campsite decorating contest for campers at the park, early trick-or-treating at the campsites, and more.
