Bree Olson is going through a “stressful” time as Charlie Sheen prepares to address the rumors that he is HIV positive. Sources tell ET the claims that Sheen is HIV positive are true.
The former adult film star took to Twitter Monday to speak out as Charlie Sheen prepares to appear on the Today show on Tuesday to address the HIV reports.
“There are speculations circling that one of my ex boyfriends from years ago may have contracted the HIV virus,” she wrote in a picture note. “They are rumors and I know nothing more than anyone else.”
“I, myself - have been to the gynecologist once a year since we split up and have always been tested across the board for everything and have come back clean across the board every time,” Olson continued. “For all the 'news’ sources out there, leave me alone. Call me Jon Snow. I know nothing.”
In a follow-up tweet, the 29-year-old wrote, “Recorded myself for half an hour being tested for HIV and getting the results. This is so stressful.”
Meanwhile, Sheen’s Today show appearance comes after a tabloid report surfaced on Monday claiming that the former Two and a Half Men star has known about his diagnosis for the past four years. According to the tabloid, Sheen “made the heartbreaking confession” to multiple individuals, and has already begun a regimen of medication meant to counteract the effects of the disease.
Sheen and Olson reportedly lived together in 2011, as Olson was one of what Sheen called his “goddesses.” She announced her retirement from adult films that year and in 2015, posted an opening letter advising women to avoid the industry.
