Breaking Bad star Bob Odenkirk has landed his next leading role in the upcoming action thriller movie Nobody.

The Emmy-winning Odenkirk is also set to feature as a producer on the project alongside John Wick producer David Leitch. Fans of the John Wick franchise probably won't be left disappointed by this film.

Universal has released a new trailer for the forthcoming movie, confirming that it will be released in cinemas early next year.

Odenkirk tweeted: "I made an action movie. For personal reasons. First one being: Vengeance."

Nobody is centred around the life of Hutch Mansell, a husband and father who is often overlooked and forgotten about.

One night, two thieves break into Hutch's family home in the suburbs and he doesn't bother to defend himself, his family or his belongings. This leaves his son Blake (Gage Munroe) and his wife Becca (Connie Nielsen) feeling disappointed and let down.

Hutch is left fighting internally and is led down a destructive path that will reveal dark secrets and compromising situations. Hutch's family are quick to feel the effect of this as they are left in a dangerous scenario. Once again, it's up to Hutch to save them from a scary adversary – but can Hutch overcome his insecurities and save the people he cares for most?

Christopher Lloyd stars as Hutch's father and musician-turned-actor RZA will appear as Hutch's brother, whose own hidden talents aid Hutch in his quest for vengeance.

Nobody will be released in UK cinemas on March 5, 2021, while the movie will be released in the US on February 26, 2021.
