‘Breaking Bad’ Villain Makes Debut on ‘Better Call Saul’

Breaking Bads notorious villain Gustavo Fring made his much-anticipated debut on Better Call Saul. Last week, when hit man Mike Ehrmantraut discovered he was being tracked with a device that he found in his gas cap, he used the same technology to help him track down the tracker, which led him to the drug czar’s chain, Los Pollos Hermanos.

Mike enlisted the help of Jimmy McGill to figure out what was going on in the restaurant. Mike requested that Jimmy buy something and patiently wait for the man with the green Chevy Blazer to arrive. Once the man got there, Jimmy was to watch his every move, especially what he did with his bag.

Perhaps Jimmy got a little overzealous as he switched seats to get a better look. Gus Fring was tooling around the restaurant cleaning up and passed by the mysterious man, who promptly left, doing nothing with the bag or its contents and instead dumping his fast food trash in the trashcan.

As Jimmy dug through the trash in hopes of finding the mysterious contents, he heard someone ask if he could help him. Jimmy quickly ditched his watch in the trash and spun around to see Gus Fring, at his service.

Although, in this episode, there were no signature explosions or murders with Fring’s appearance, it’s a good bet we’ll see something nefarious in the future.

Better Call Saul airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on AMC.
