Brazilian Soccer Star Neymar and Model Bruna Biancardi Split 1 Month After Daughter's Birth

Bruna Biancardi has announced that she and boyfriend Neymar have split.

The 28-year-old model addressed the status of her relationship with the Brazilian soccer star in an update to her Instagram Stories Tuesday, just a month after the pair welcomed a baby girl, Mavie, together.

In her message, translated from Portuguese, Biancardi wrote, “This is a private matter, but as I deal with news, assumptions and jokes every day, I inform you that I am not in a relationship.”

The model continued by saying, “We are Mavie's parents, and that is the reason for our bond.”

Biancardi finished her message by saying she hopes this announcement will keep her out of the news from now on. “Thanks 🫶,” she concluded.

The ex-couple first went public with their romance in early 2022 and split briefly that summer before reconciling.

In April, Neymar and Biancardi revealed that they were expecting their first baby together on Instagram.

They made the announcement with a series of photos that highlighted Biancardi's bump in the joint post. The caption — translated from Portuguese — began, "We dream about your life, plan for your arrival, and know that you are here to complete our love and make our days much happier 🙏🏼."

On Oct. 6, the two shared that Mavie had been born in another joint Instagram, posting several photos of the newborn. "Our Mavie came to complete our lives ❤️ 🙏🏼," the translated caption said. “Welcome, daughter! You are already very loved by us... thank you for choosing us ✨ God bless you!”

Biancardi has since documented several milestones in Mavie’s life on Instagram, including her “first bath in the tub with mommy” and her 1-month birthday. “1 month of our bundle of love 💖 🙏🏼,” she wrote alongside the baby girl’s birthday post, translated from Portuguese.

“30 days since my life changed for the better,” she continued. “Tired days but delicious at the same time.. we have had challenges with breastfeeding, which is now light and tasty.. early mornings together getting to know each other.. hours and hours watching you in my lap.. relaxing baths and changes of clothes with lots of crying.. kkk.”

“May it be just the beginning of a beautiful adventure together! I love you daughter,” she concluded. “All for you! You are my life."

Neymar — a forward for Al Hilal, a Saudi Pro League club, as well as the Brazil national team — is also a father to son Davi Lucca, 12, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend, model-influencer Carolina Dantas.
