Episode 2 of The Brave Yong Soo Jung aired on MBC on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. The series stars Seo Jun-Young, Uhm Hyun-Kyung, Im Ju-Eun, and Kwon Hwa-Woon, among others. The previous episode of the K-drama ended on a striking note with Soo-Jung’s mother collapsing in a terrible fire at their house. In the latest episode, viewers see Soo-Jung’s mother tragically passing away after getting stuck in the fire and smoke.
The Brave Yong Soo Jung episode 2 also shows that the lives of Joo Woo-Jin’s birth mother and her unborn child are in grave danger. The woman who has taken Joo Woo-Jin as her son, Min Kyung-Hwa, is behind it. She wants to get rid of Woo-Jin’s birth mother, Lee Young-Ae, for her own sake. The Brave Yong Soo Jung Episode 2: Yong Soo-Jung and Yong Jang-Won save Joo Woo-Jin’s birth mother
Episode 2 of The Brave Yong Soo Jung begins right where the previous episode ended. Soo-Jung’s mother has collapsed in the fire, while little Soo-Jung is crying for help. At that moment, a kind man, Yong Jang-Won, arrives at the right time to save Soo-Jung. However, unfortunately, Soo-Jung’s mother passes away. She is devastated by the loss of her beloved mother. At the hospital, a few people try to threaten little Soo-Jung, as her father has previously gone missing. But Yong Jang-Won scares them away.
After that, in The Brave Yong Soo Jung episode 2, the audience sees a man trying to abduct Joo Woo-Jin’s birth mother, Lee Young-Ae, who is pregnant. She somehow runs away, but the man finds her and hits her with his car. She somehow manages to still survive. But Joo Woo-Jin’s adoptive mother, Min Kyung-Hwa, who is behind everything, appears there and tries to get rid of her forever by making her fall.
Later, young Woo-Jin’s birthday party is ruined by a sudden attack from one of their enemies. The next day, he finally finds out about his birth mother. Min Kyung-Hwa herself tells him about Lee Young-Ae. But she manipulates the truth and tells him that his grandmother hated his birth mother, and that is why she is not here.
At the end of episode 2 of The Brave Yong Soo Jung, viewers witness that Lee Young-Ae has somehow survived the big fall. She then gets saved by Yong Jang-Won and young Soo-Jung. They even helped her deliver her baby boy, named Yeo Ui-Joo. At that moment, Soo-Jung decides to take care of and protect the baby till the very end. The episode ends right there.
