CHEBOYGAN — Now in its 24th season, the Northern Michigan Brass Band (NMiBB) is excited about performing once again in Cheboygan.

The band will present a concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29 at The Opera House. Continuing their long-standing tradition of programming something for everyone, this 30-piece, British-style brass band will perform an eclectic mix of traditional brass band classics, marches, transcriptions, featured solos, contest pieces, pop and jazz.

Sponsored by the Cheboygan Area Council for the Arts, tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for veterans, with all students admitted free.

“When planning a program, NMiBB tries to remember that not everyone listens to music in the same way," said conductor Ralph Schweigert. "Some people listen with their heads, others with their hearts and still others with their feet. NMiBB includes music that will appeal to each of these listening styles on every concert.”

Tickets are available online at theoperahouse.org/tickets, by phone (231-627-5841), or at the Box Office.
