He also went on to say that when it comes to the things and people that are important in his life; family, career and record label, there is no shortage of goals. Gilbert is no doubt taking back his life and making his dreams come true and fans are excited for him. There are many celebrities who found themselves dealing with the pressure of popularity and could not handle it at a point, so they found the easy way out. Not many of them get second shots at their careers and that is why Gilbert can be considered as one of the lucky ones.
Brantley Gilbert may have made mistakes in the past, but he is coming out to say that those days are over for him and he is ready to move forward. He has already accomplished one of his goals for the year, regarding his career. He released a duet titled "What Happens In A Small Town," with Lindsay Ell recently, and it became a No 1 hit. Although five of Gilbert's songs have made it to the top chart, this is a bigger achievement because he has been away from the music world for a while.
According to the 34-year-old, the song was very special to him as it explains vividly everything about his life.
"We all have our stories that go with songs we're involved with, and for me, it was my wife and our story." He said.
Gilbert has experienced his songs on the top chart six times now, but it is special for Ell because it is her first. Gilbert mentioned that this is the part that makes it more exciting for him.
