Brandy Insists Her New Stella Rosa Flavor Is “Going To Get Everybody Turned Up”

Brandy welcomed an excited crowd to the Los Angeles Arts District at The Bike Shed Moto Co. last week for an evening of celebration and an exclusive tasting of Stella Rosa’s latest offering.

With warm decor and a fusion of throwback and modern R&B vibrating through the speakers, the party encouraged dancing, conversation, and of course, sips of courtesy cocktails, with choices curated by the singer herself. Stella Rosa and Brandy have been partnered since 2022, per Rated RnB, and initially launched with three flavors: Smooth Black, Tropical Passion, and Honey Peach, Brandy’s favorite.

“It’s just such a blessing,” detailed the Grammy Award-winning artist of being the face of Stella Rosa Premium Imported Brandy to VIBE ahead of the night’s festivities. “It feels so good. Because I was familiar with Stella Rosa before they created the brandy, and I was just so excited that they created the brandy and it tastes so good. The bottles are beautiful. I’m just really blessed to work with such a family-oriented company. And I’m just blessed, is the word.”

“It’s about fun,” added Stella Rosa CEO Steve Riboli elsewhere in the intimate conversation, detailing how the brandy is made in Northern Italy, where his own family is from. “It’s about authenticity. … We got to be authentic. We got to be true to ourselves. And you know what? I think it’s a beautiful thing about just this partnership is we are happy being together.”

As the evening continued, attendees delighted in the B-Rocka cocktail, a mixed drink incorporating a pour of the Smooth Black brandy, blackberry puree, and lemon juice.  Other sipping options included the Stella-Jito, a twist on a classic mojito, and a Brandy Sidecar with the honey peach flavor. Additionally, the newly announced Butter Toffee flavor was offered neat and on the rocks for a full-tasting experience.

“[It is] so strong and good,” details the musician of the new flavor, due to hit shelves later this spring. “It’s going to get everybody turned up.”

Before the night concluded, the Full Moon performer took centerstage in a perfectly tailored Helmut Lang printed suit, performing a modified version of her 1994 chart-topper “I Wanna Be Down,” thanking everyone for their attendance.
