This is the tallest teenager in Britain -- and possibly the world!

Meet 16-year-old Brandon Marshall, who hails from St. Edmunds, Suffolk. He stands at a staggering 7 feet 4 inches. He's known to his friends affectionately as "tiny," according to The Mirror.

Brandon says he was average height until the age of nine, when he went through a supersized growth spurt. And doctors believe he is still growing.

"I can't believe he's still growing. To be honest, I don't know what height he is going to reach," said his mom Lynne Quelch. He's is currently undergoing testing at Addenbrooke's Hospital in an attempt to figure out why he is so tall, but some scans show he is missing chromosome 12.

"His height gene is mutated, so they are looking into it further because it has only ever been seen once before," Lynne added, according to Yahoo News. "But medically, everyday wise, he just gets on with it. He just has to bend through everything so he doesn’t clonk his head."

Said his mom, "He has got a super king bed at the moment but we are having an eight-foot bed custom built for him.

"Shoes have always been a problem because I will never be able to find them and they are really expensive," Brandon echoed of his size 17 feet.

If nothing else, his heigh has paid off when it comes to sports. He's been handpicked to play for the Wales National Basketball Team

.

Previously, Broc Brown held the title at 7 feet 8 inches, but turned 20 this year.
