Brandi Glanville Trolled for Using Filters on Instagram: ‘Who Is This?’
It’s been said that too much of a good thing isn’t good at all. And that seems to be the case when it comes to filters and photo editors on social media.
Brandi Glanville is experiencing this firsthand, after being trolled. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star posted a series of photos of herself and her family for the holidays, and fans were quick to react by asking how much she had filtered the photo because they thought it looked nothing like her.

Brandi was trolled on her own Instagram post
“Happy Holidays Kitty Kats,” Brandi captioned a series of photos starting with a selfie of her with her long blonde hair flowing past her shoulders and under a deep red and long Santa hat that said “Holidays” on the white trim.
The other photos showed her home, family, and a large holiday charcuterie board. The IG carousel was meant to be a peek into her holiday celebration, but she probably should have predicted how people would react.
The large majority of the comments weren’t holiday greetings but instead shocked comments asking who the person in the photo was. Trolls lamented Brandi’s overuse of filters, suggesting she looked like somebody else.
Some of the most popular comments included, “Wait, who is this?” to “Does Brandi have a 25-year-old daughter we don’t know about?” Another read, “Seriously, who is that a picture of?”
One of the more constructive comments told Brandi that she was already a beautiful woman. Their argument was that she didn’t need filters.
Another contemplative comment said, “I hate filters and what they are doing to women’s self-esteem. Come on, Brandi set an example for young girls or older women. Take the crappy filters off!”
Perhaps next time, Brandi will remember that when she’s post-prodding her photos.
