Bradley Cooper Finally Reveals His New Buzzcut While on a Walk in N.Y.C.

The Oscar-nominated actor has been keeping his shaved head under wraps for several weeks, but finally revealed his buzzcut Wednesday

Bradley Cooper debuted a new look this week for the fall.

The Licorice Pizza actor, 48, was spotted out and about in the West Village neighborhood of New York City on Wednesday sporting a fresh buzzcut while talking on his cellphone.

Looking prepared for the autumn season as the Big Apple weather begins to cool, Cooper wore a knitted double-breasted cardigan in navy blue layered over a white T-shirt, with blue jeans and clear-rimmed aviator sunglasses.

This marks the first time Cooper's new haircut was seen in public. The A Star is Born actor and director hinted at his freshly shaved head on Sept. 22 when he was photographed wearing a baseball cap.

Dressed casually with a stylish flight jacket layered over a simple white T-shirt teamed with gray cargo pants, Cooper — who shares daughter, Lea de Seine, 6, with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk — obscured his identity with sunglasses and a baseball cap. The hat featured the logo from Live! With Murray Franklin, the fictitious talkshow featured in 2019's Oscar-winning Joker, which Cooper co-produced.

While it's unclear what prompted Cooper to chop his locks, he was still sporting his signature long haircut in late August while enjoying a family vacation in Italy with Shayk, 37, and their daughter Lea.

"The Italy trip with [their] daughter is fun for everyone," an insider told PEOPLE on Aug. 29. "Lea wants them all to travel together. And Irina and Bradley are friendly and get along. They both want to make Lea happy."

Shayk shared photos of their Italian vacation, including a picture of Cooper on the beach, with his hair still long enough to tickle his forehead.

“Rocky summer,” the model captioned the Instagram carousel of snaps.

The Oscar-nominated actor and Shayk began dating in the spring of 2015 and welcomed Lea in 2017 before calling it quits two years later.

Cooper and Shayk sparked reconciliation rumors in November 2022 when they were spotted showing some PDA while taking their dogs for a walk in New York City. However, Shayk has reportedly been spending time with Tom Brady in recent months.
