Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga brought major star power to the Screen Actors Guild Awards – but their movie, A Star Is Born, didn’t take home any statuettes.

The cast was nominated for best outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture, which was won by Marvel’s Black Panther.

Cooper was nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role and Lady Gaga was nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor.

Sam Elliott was also nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a supporting role.

Nonetheless, both Cooper, 44, and Gaga, 32, appeared to be in high spirits throughout the ceremony.

Gaga was spotted holding hands with her fiancé Christian Carino and Cooper brought his mother Gloria Campano since his girlfriend Irina Shayk is working abroad.

While the film came up short Sunday evening, it has celebrated a number of victories in recent weeks.

The SAG Awards snub comes after Gaga took home the award for best song for her track “Shallow” from the film at the 2019 Critics Choice Awards on Jan. 13.

“This means the world to us. I’ll never forget when we wrote this song together with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt,” Gaga said of her fellow songwriters.

“I’ll never forget playing it for Bradley for the first time and seeing his face light up and then singing it live together, take after take,” she added of her director and costar, who smiled as he watched her speak.

“I was mesmerized both as myself and as my character Ally. I was basking in the brilliant transformation of Bradley into Jackson Maine, singing on his stage, and overwhelmed by the storytelling and power in his voice.”

The hit single also won best original song at the 2019 Golden Globes on Jan. 6. That was, however, its sole win that night.

Despite being heavily nominated, A Star Is Born took home just one award of the five it was nominated for.

Of course, it isn’t over for the film. A Star Is Born has been nominated for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography and Best Sound Mixing.

The film, which marked Cooper’s directorial debut, is up for 7 Academy Awards.

Cooper is up for Best Actor and Gaga for Best Actress. Elliott has also been nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

The Oscars will air on Feb. 24 on ABC.
