The two were first linked in early October 2023 when they were spotted dining together at Via Carota in New York City's West Village and have seemingly grown closer ever since.

"They are having fun," a source told PEOPLE. “It appears super casual now, but they both have kids, big careers, busy lives and understand what life is like in these circles. It’s cute … and there is an attraction.”

Cooper was previously in a relationship with Russian model Irina Shayk, with whom he shares a daughter named Lea De Seine. The pair, who began dating in 2015, broke up two years later but remain friends.

Meanwhile, Hadid was previously in a relationship with Zayn Malik, with whom she shares daughter Khai. She and the One Direction alum split in October 2021 after nearly six years of dating.

In early October, the supermodel and actor made headlines as they were spotted exiting celebrity hotspot Via Carota in New York City's West Village neighborhood before getting into the same SUV, as seen in photos shared by the Daily Mail.

Shortly after their dinner outing, the two were spotted in N.Y.C. together again as Hadid rode in the same car as Cooper, with the actor behind the wheel.

The day after their Big Apple appearance, a source shed more light on the status of their relationship with PEOPLE, noting that they were keeping things casual.

"They are having fun," they said of Hadid and Cooper. "She’s independent, busy, and her days are filled with responsibilities so I don’t see anything serious happening right away if at all.”

However, the insider revealed that Hadid has "had sort of a crush on [Cooper] for a while" and might be open to exploring more than friendship with the actor.

As their relationship evolves, a source told PEOPLE that the pair have been taking weekend getaways together as they continue to get to know each other.

October 20, 2023: Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper step out in N.Y.C. together

Hadid and Cooper were seen braving the rain in N.Y.C. as they stepped out for a stroll together. Both were dressed warmly against the chilly, wet weather, with the supermodel in a long black coat and pants, gray knit beanie and dark sunglasses. Meanwhile, the Oscar-nominated actor sported a long-sleeved blue shirt over black slacks — with the waistband of a pair of Ellen DeGeneres Show-branded boxers peeking through.

Two months after Cooper and Hadid were spotted out in N.Y.C. together, a source told PEOPLE that things are "going really well" for the couple. Their relationship seems to be "getting more and more serious" after they recently spent time together in Philadelphia.

"They were pretty low-key when they were in town recently and had a date night in a private room at a local restaurant," the source said.

"They were quietly dating for much longer before it went public and were very hush-hush, trying to see if things would work between them. They had several months together privately and things have been going really well," they added.

A source exclusively told PEOPLE that they were at the afterparty with friends and "all had fun."

"Bradley and Gigi looked happy together. They weren’t overly affectionate, but it was still obvious that they are dating. There were lots of loving glances and flirting," the source said, adding that Hadid and Gloria "chatted" through the evening.

"Whenever his mom spoke, she listened enthusiastically and kept smiling," the source said. "It looked like they were getting to know each other."
