Buying Back Their 'Happy Place'

Just the other day, it was reported that Pitt was attempting to win Aniston back over in a very unique manner. That is, buying back their old Hollywood Hill mansion the two shared when they were married. To Jenn, she considered it their 'happy place'. It was a house that the couple built from the ground up and made their own.

Well, the house went on the market and Pitt made sure to snatch it up before anyone else could. The suspected reason? To gift it back to Aniston has a message that he wanted to rekindle their relationship and share a future together with her.

The First to Arrive and The Last to Leave

Well, fast forward to Jennifer Aniston's Christmas party that she just had. Pitt was an invitee and from what is being shared, he was one of the last ones to leave the party, altogether. Even more satisfying is that he was one of the first people to arrive, as well.

According to Entertainment Tonight, "Brad Pitt arrived at Jennifer Aniston’s holiday party a little after 7 p.m. on Saturday," the show revealed. "He was among the first to arrive and the second to last guest to leave around 11 p.m."

Most of the Hollywood elite believe in the casually late mantra, so for him to be so punctual and then leave at the very end, says something.

You Say He's Just a Friend...

The source that spoke to Entertainment Tonight went a little further into detail about the party and who was represented there. They shared, "It was very festive. It was a pretty low-key, casual affair," the source added. "Just a gathering of close friends to celebrate the holidays."

Reading into that context, we would be able to deduce that Pitt is considered one of her close friends. But how close? Another source was able to provide some insight into the former couple's relationship, claiming that they have remained close, despite the ups and downs and tough times. However, the frequency with which they've chatted has picked up.

Talking More Often

The source shared, "Jen and Brad have remained friends and have spoken with each other quite a few times since they both became single."

For anyone that is pulling for the former power couple to get back together, now is the time. Pitt buying back their old house as a gesture for can leaves to speculate a lot, but if this latest incident is any indication, there might be something in the works. Reconciling their relationship as a resolution for 2020 would be too much to ask, right?
