The 2020 SAG Awards was a night filled with plenty of jaw-dropping moments — and many of them centered around Brad Pitt. The actor not only took part in one of the most iconic celebrity reunions of all time (hello, Jennifer Aniston!) but he also made waves with his incredibly charming acceptance speech for his Best Supporting Actor win for Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood.

“I’ve got to add this to my Tinder profile,” the 56-year-old muttered as he opened his memorable speech. While the line was met with plenty of laughs from the audience, including his 50-year-old ex, fans were still quick to assume that the actor did, in fact, have a profile on the popular dating app.

“Did you know that Tinder subscriptions went up like crazy because of you?” a reporter asked the star recently.

But sadly, you won’t stumble upon the award-winning actor while swiping left on your phone.

“I’m not on [Tinder],” he confessed while speaking to Extra at the 2020 Santa Barbara International Film Festival, explaining that he just used the line as a witty opener. “I’m not even really sure how it all works. It just sounded funny to me.”

It’s not like the actor, who separated from ex-wife Angelina Jolie in 2016, needs any help in the dating department, anyway. After his highly anticipated reunion with ex Aniston, with whom he split from in 2005, fans couldn’t help but gush about the couple possibly getting back together.

“Brad and Jennifer…love is lovelier the second time around!!!!!!” one fan wrote on Twitter, while another added, “Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston belong together.”

Though it’s still up in the air if the former flames will give their love another try, for now it seems they’re content with just being friends.

“I’m blissfully naive, and I’m gonna stay that way,” Pitt replied when asked his thoughts on the hype surrounding the reunion with his ex.
