'Boys Meets World' Star Danielle Fishel Shares 1st Pic of Baby At Home After NICU

Danielle Fishel shared the first photo of her newborn son at home after spending weeks in the NICU.

The "Boy Meets World" actress posted the snap showing Adler's little legs resting on their doggie's head, and says that, although the house is a mess, she's completely at peace.

Showing the tiny tot's long limbs, Fishel writes, "The house is a mess, I have a stye on my left eye, I haven't showered in two days, I can't remember when I did anything (when did we change his diaper last? What time did I pump?)"

Continuing that while she and her husband, Jensen, are on night shifts and "pass each other like zombies" these have been "some of the best days of my life."

Earlier this week, Fishel announced they were finally leaving the NICU where Adler had been since his birth on June 24.

Marking three weeks this past Tuesday, the actress and her husband were able to walk their son out of the Children's Hospital in L.A. and take the "NICU graduate" home.

Sharing a picture of them leaving the hospital, the "Boy Meets World" star thanked the staff for making the miracle possible.

"We never wanted to know this hospital and its staff so well but now that we do, we can say with certainty there is no better place for children with medical needs," she wrote. "Now we hope to never be back."

When Adler was born, he was a month early and had "unexplained fluid in both of his lung cavities."

Jensen shared this photo of him, showing his parents hands surrounding his tiny body.

"Our ensuing rollercoaster ride of emotion, terror, vulnerability and unadulterated sadness has been one we did not expect," he wrote.

Adding, "he’s fighting so hard every single day. I KNOW he’ll be out soon, kissing me back, ruining our lives, ready to board our ark. I’ve remembered that miracles still can’t always be perfect, but as soon as he’s feeling better, it’s going to be difficult to convince me that this little guy is anything but."
