Boy George Talks George Michael Feud and Surprising Michael Jackson Revelation

Boy George stopped by the Clubhouse on Watch What Happens Live Tuesday night and talked about a couple of music legends named Michael. Andy Cohen asked Boy George about his feud with George Michael, and how he recently met Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris.

Boy George had just met Paris a couple weeks before, but he told Andy that he had, surprisingly, never met the King of Pop. Andy was shocked by the revelation, and Boy George said it was one of his biggest sorrows.

About George Michael, Boy George said that in the beginning, naturally, they were competitors. They were both named George, they both sang similar music, and they both came up at the same time. Boy George said that around the time Faith came out, he really started appreciating George Michael as an artist.

When Andy asked about the alleged feud that the two artists had over George Michael not coming out as gay earlier than he did, Boy George laughed it off, saying that in the ’80s everyone was “bitchy” toward one another, and that they had since made peace.

Watch What Happens Live airs Sundays through Thursdays at 11 p.m. on Bravo.
