"I've already ruled that out," Yang said of revisiting "The Actress" when Stone hosts again this week.

Expectations are high for Emma Stone's return to host Saturday Night Live for a fifth time this weekend, but, sadly, there's one fan-favorite sketch we already know she won't be revisiting.

Cast member Bowen Yang broke the news on this week's episode of his Las Culturistas podcast that there is no plan to revive Stone's hilarious digital short, "The Actress," about a bit player who creates an elaborate backstory for her character, "the woman who gets cheated on in the gay porn."

"I think 'The Actress Part 2' would only disappoint," Yang, who co-wrote the original sketch with Julio Torres in 2019, said. "I'm not gassing up my own work here, but the way that that was conceived and written, and made and shot and everything was so pure, and it was me and Julio, coming together.”

The sketch aired during the April 13, 2019 episode when Stone hosted with musical guest BTS. At the time, Yang was working as a writer on the show before being added to the cast for the season 45 premiere.

"It's always diminishing returns," Yang said of sequels in general, after admitting to his podcast cohost Matt Rogers that he'd suffered from the "Sunday scaries" ahead of returning to SNL on Monday to pitch sketches to Stone, with whom he shares a birthday.

Rogers insisted a continuation of the "The Actress" would be worth it, but Yang told his bestie he'd "already ruled that out." Still, Rogers shared a solid pitch for the potential sequel just in case.

"'The Actress 2' starts with the actress that Emma Stone plays in the first sketch. She's now hugely successful. We see her boudoir is filled with Oscars," Rogers began. He continued, "Grace, who is known in Hollywood mononymously as Grace, has won six Oscars, all for lead. She's Emma Stone times 15. She's the biggest actress in Hollywood and they come to her with a pitch for another film with [porn star] Ty Mitchell. And she says, 'I don't know if I can go back to that place,' and they convince her and we see her doing Lady Gaga Method [acting] on the set."

"I have doomed it by pitching it here," Rogers lamented of his follow-up idea.

Tune in Saturday to see what Yang and others have cooked up for Stone when SNL airs live at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on NBC and Peacock.
