‘Bosch’ Producer Fabrik Ent Names Melissa Aouate Head Of Development

EXCLUSIVE: Fabrik Entertainment, the producer of Amazon’s hit crime drama Bosch, has upped Melissa Aouate to Head of Development. The exec succeeds Kristen Campo, who left the company in October.

Aouate is making the jump from her role as SVP of Development and Production. She will continue to be supported by Abbey Morris and Paul Hilborn, who have been promoted to VPs. Prior to joining Fabrik, Aouate was a literary agent at ICM Partners and a film and television executive for director/producer Robert Zemeckis.

LA-based Fabrik, owned by the Red Arrow Entertainment Group, is currently producing Season 3 of Bosch for air in 2017. The adaptation of Michael Connelly’s best-selling books that stars Titus Welliver as the eponymous rule-breaking detective, was recently picked up for a 4th season.

Fabrik is also developing book series Ancillary Justice for FX, social media thriller kRawl for MTV, and Midnights for USA. Together with parent Red Arrow, the company is further working on new international co-productions.

Henrik Bastin, CEO of Fabrik, says “Melissa has been instrumental in building Fabrik’s growing slate, and I’m thrilled that we will continue to benefit from her talent and insight both in development and on set. Along with Paul and Abbey, we have a great development team, as demonstrated by our strong current and forthcoming productions. I would also like to thank Kristen for all her commitment and support over the last few years, and wish her the best of luck in her new ventures.”
