Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 10 was released on Monday, May 20, 2024, on Shueisha’s MANGA Plus and Viz Media’s official websites. The chapter was titled “Kernel” and focused on Jura and Hidari’s going after Himawari and her bond with Kurama.

The chapter kicked off where the previous one left off, with Jura and Hidari chasing Himawari through the village. However, Konahamaru and his team intercepted them, stopping them in their tracks and reporting it to Shikamaru.

Shikamaru then relayed the message to Kawaki and told him to stop chasing Boruto for now. Hearing that Himawari was in danger, he abandoned his quest for Boruto and ran towards her. Shikamaru then confirmed Boruto’s status, but he told him it was a minor issue.

Elsewhere, Jura left to track Himawari, leaving behind Hidari with Konohamaru and the other ninjas. Konohamaru was baffled to hear that Hidari’s chakra matched Sasuke’s, but his shock was cut short by Sarada’s appearance. Hidari noticed Sarada and attacked with a Chidori, but she dodged and attacked with her own, injuring him in the process. After realizing the jutsu was the same, she asked Hidari to reveal his identity.

Elsewhere, Kurama met with Himawari in the tailed beast space. Kurama explained that he and Himawari were a single body and soul. Meanwhile, Inojin, Shikadai, and Chocho tried to wake her since Jura had almost caught up to them. Kurama explained that his flame of life had been extinguished, but death was not forever for a tailed beast, as they would be reborn as a kernel and planted somewhere until the right time.

He then informed her that the kernel had sprouted within her faster than usual, adding that the important thing now is to accept it, which she quickly did. She introduced herself once again and woke up to find Jura hot on their tails, asking Kurama to do something.

However, nothing happened. Jura shot the bird, and they descended. Chocho grabbed everyone and used her body to shield them from the fall. Jura arrived and praised their efforts but told them he had to dispose of them. Himawari beckoned on Kurama again, but he asked her not to be a spoilt brat since she could only do something.

She tried to attack Jura, but he caught her and broke her leg. Inojin then tried to attack him but was stabbed in the chest. As Himawari broke free from Jura’s cage using the nine-tailed powers, she took on a form reminiscent of Naruto’s first time with it. The chapter ended by setting up the epic clash between the two.
