When Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan received two Oscar nods recently, it didn't just become an Academy Award nominee, it became a Guinness World Record holder, too.

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that the film had been recognised in both the Adapted Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress categories.

As well as getting the two Oscar nods, this also means the mockumentary-style comedy is now officially the proud owner of the Guinness World Record for longest title for a film nominated for an Academy Award.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm's complete title comes in at a whopping 110 characters, which is 25 characters longer than the previous record-holder, 1965's Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines or How I Flew from London to Paris in 25 hours 11 minutes.

Borat 2, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video back in October 2020, sees Sacha Baron Cohen reprise his role as the titular Kazakhstani journalist.

In the film, the character conjures up a wild plan to offer up his daughter Tutar (Maria Bakalova) as a potential bride for Vice President Mike Pence during the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2020 presidential election.

It is a sequel to 2006's Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.
