Boosie Says Television Is Forcing Homosexuality On Young Viewers
While Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz was doing time in prison from 2009 to 2014, the world became a very different place. When he rejoined society, Boosie discovered selfies, FaceTime and a much more inclusive society that welcomed the LGBTQ community in ways that had never been seen before. Life after prison is certainly an adjustment, but the increase of LGBTQ storylines on television is something that Boosie can’t seem to get used to. In a recent interview on VLAD TV, Boosie was very candid in his opinions.
“They tryna make everybody f**king gay,” Boosie said. “They putting it on our culture. They’re putting it everywhere. Gay stuff is everywhere.”
The “Smile To Keep From Crying” rapper also said that he believes the influx of homosexuality on TV is just a conspiracy theory to make money. He doesn’t believe that television executives are really “fans of the gays.”
When he was asked what he would do if his son, Torrence Hatch Jr., came to him and told him he was gay, Boosie said he’d try to “slap his a** back straight,” but if that didn’t work he wouldn’t ban the child from his life. He’d “find some crazy way to deal with it.”
Despite his feelings, Boosie is adamant that he isn’t homophobic. “I don’t hate gay people at all,” he said. “I know plenty gay people. But don’t force it on ‘em to be gay. Don’t do that. I just feel like that’s wrong. I came home and was like ‘What the f**k is going on?’ It was out of hand, man.”
