'Bones' Says Farewell With a Fiery End and Tender Goodbye

After last week's explosive cliffhanger, Bones fans were pleased to see that Dr. Brennan and company were still alive, but Bones was suffering from a contusion on her corpus callosum and unable to process complex information. Being just steps away from capturing the culprit, she kind of needed all her brain parts at top performance. Fortunately there were other big brains on the job and after finding Jeanine Kovac’s DNA on the explosives, Booth figured out that Mark Kovac and Jeannine Kovac were actually brother and sister, not husband and wife. Confronting her, she confessed to the murder of Dr. Brennan's father. Being just steps away from Mark Kovac they descended upon him in SWAT style but an injury rendered Booth's trigger finger out of commision. Fortunately, Bones' brain was on the rebound and she realized he had an isolated bone dislocation in forearm that she popped right back into place. With his hand functional again, Booth was able to take out Kovac with a bullet while he was driving, thus running the jeep off a mini-cliff in a fiery explosion. And as the team sorted through the remains of the Jeffersonian, fans were able to reflect on a long and fruitful run of a beloved TV show before finally saying goodbye.
