Bon Iver Cancel Wisconsin Concerts Due to COVID-19

Bon Iver have canceled three shows meant to spur voting in the 2020 presidential election. “We believe that this is the best preventative action we can take against the continued spread of coronavirus (COVID-19),” the band wrote. Find Bon Iver’s announcement below.

The three shows were set to take place this October in Bon Iver’s home state of Wisconsin. They were part of Bon Iver manager Kyle Frenette’s 46 for 46 campaign to defeat President Donald Trump in the 2020 election. Fans who pledged to vote were given access to pre-sale tickets to the concerts.

Bon Iver were previously forced to postpone European shows due to COVID-19 concerns. The band released i,i last year.
