Bolton on Woodward bombshell: Trump's decision to downplay virus 'almost certainly' cost lives

Former national security adviser John Bolton joins Yahoo News Editor in Chief Daniel Klaidman and Chief Investigative Correspondent Michael Isikoff to discuss revelations from the upcoming book by journalist Bob Woodward, “Rage,” that President Trump knew the potential severity of the coronavirus and intentionally chose to “play it down” to the public in order to prevent a panic. Bolton, who previously served in the Trump administration, says he is “not surprised by it at all” and that the president’s decision to downplay the virus “almost certainly” cost lives.
